Terms of Service
Effective October 8, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Draco EMT Prep (the “Service”), operated by Draco Learning, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
3. What the Service Is
Draco EMT Prep is an independent study aid to help you prepare for the NREMT EMT cognitive examination and practice the EMT psychomotor skills. It provides practice questions, explanations, skills checklists, and progress tracking. It is a study tool — it is not the exam, is not affiliated with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT®), and does not guarantee any exam result.
4. Your Account
You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
5. Payments, Billing, and Subscriptions
5.1 Payment processor. All payments are processed securely by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. (stripe.com). By providing a payment method, you authorize Draco Learning and Stripe to store a token representing that payment method and to charge it for all fees incurred under your plan. Your payments are also governed by Stripe’s own terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
5.2 Plans and fees. Draco EMT Prep offers an individual Monthly plan at $9.99 per month, an individual Annual plan at $49.99 per year, and an Institutional plan for schools and EMT programs at $5.99 per enrolled student, per month. The applicable fee, billing frequency, and currency (U.S. dollars) are shown to you at the time of purchase. A free tier with limited daily practice is available and requires no payment method.
5.3 Authorization and recurring billing. Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically. By starting a paid plan, you expressly authorize Draco Learning, through Stripe, to charge your payment method the then-current fee on a recurring basis — monthly for the Monthly and Institutional plans, and annually for the Annual plan — until you cancel, without the need for further authorization or a separate notice before each recurring charge. You are responsible for keeping your payment method current. For Institutional plans, the responsible instructor or program authorizes charges based on the number of enrolled seats, which may increase automatically as students are added.
5.4 Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@dracoemtprep.com. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period; you retain access until that period ends. We do not provide partial-period or pro-rated refunds upon cancellation.
5.5 No refunds; all sales final. Because Draco EMT Prep provides immediate access to digital study materials upon payment, all fees are non-refundable and all sales are final — including for partially used billing periods, unused access, subscriptions that renew because they were not cancelled in time, accounts terminated for violation of these Terms, or dissatisfaction with the Service — except where a non-waivable right to a refund is required by applicable law. You acknowledge that you receive the full benefit of the Service upon being granted access.
5.6 Failed payments. If a charge is declined or otherwise fails, we may suspend or downgrade your access until payment is successfully processed, and the charge may be retried. For Institutional plans, a failed payment may result in temporary suspension of access for the affected students until the outstanding balance is resolved.
5.7 Price changes. We may change our fees from time to time. We will provide advance notice of any change affecting your plan (for example, by email or in-app), and the new price will apply to your next renewal. Continuing your subscription after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
5.8 Taxes. Fees on our website are stated exclusive of any applicable taxes, duties, or governmental assessments, for which you are solely responsible. For purchases made through the App Store, the price Apple shows includes any tax Apple collects.
5.9 Chargebacks and payment disputes. If you believe a charge is in error, you agree to contact us first at support@dracoemtprep.com so we can promptly review and resolve it. You agree not to initiate a chargeback, dispute, or payment reversal with your bank, card issuer, or Stripe for any charge that was properly authorized under these Terms, including recurring renewal charges for a subscription you did not cancel before it renewed. You acknowledge and agree that your acceptance of these Terms, your authorization of recurring billing, and our account, consent, and usage records constitute your agreement to, and evidence of, the charges. A chargeback or dispute that is inconsistent with these Terms is a breach of this agreement, and in response we may immediately suspend or terminate your account and access. We reserve the right to contest any such chargeback and to recover the disputed amount, any related payment-processor or bank fees, and reasonable costs of collection to the fullest extent permitted by law. Records of your account activity — including registration, consent, IP address, and usage logs — may be submitted as evidence in connection with any dispute.
5.10 Purchases in the iOS and iPadOS app (App Store). Subscriptions bought in the Draco EMT Prep app are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, not by us or Stripe, and Apple’s terms and policies apply to them. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. You can turn off automatic renewal or cancel at any time in your device’s Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions; deleting your Draco EMT Prep account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies (reportaproblem.apple.com). Sections 5.1, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6 and 5.9 apply to purchases made on our website; for App Store purchases, this section applies instead. The same Premium access is provided whether you subscribe on our website or in the app, and it is tied to your Draco EMT Prep account.
5.11 The app and Apple’s license terms. Your use of the Draco EMT Prep app is also governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms are between you and Draco Learning only, not Apple; Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to share your account, resell or redistribute our content, copy or scrape the question bank, attempt to disrupt the Service, or use it unlawfully. The questions, explanations, and materials are the property of Draco Learning and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
7. Class Games
Instructors with access to our instructor tools can run live class games (Team Trivia). Students join a game with the code their instructor shows, without an account, and these Terms apply while they play.
Instructors run games only for their own classes, choose whether the class screen shows players’ names, and are responsible for how they use the results. Players join with their own first name or a nickname, never someone else’s name and nothing offensive, and play fairly: no scripts or automated answering, and no joining games they weren’t invited to. The instructor, or we, may hide a name or remove a player. A game’s questions are part of our content, and the rules in section 6 apply to them.
8. Educational and Medical Disclaimer
Content is provided for exam preparation only and is not medical advice. Clinical care in the field must always follow your local protocols and medical direction. While we work hard to keep content accurate and current, we do not warrant that it is error-free, and you use it at your own discretion.
9. No Guarantee
Preparation improves your readiness, but many factors affect exam outcomes. We do not and cannot guarantee that you will pass the NREMT or any examination.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Draco Learning is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service is provided “as is.”
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
